Outstanding Essay Selection

During the JENESYS program, my essay "Snow Flowers, Poetry of Life and Connection" was selected as an outstanding work among program participants, reflecting on disaster preparedness tourism through Northeast Japan earthquake sites. The essay shared insights on Korea-Japan friendship inspired by Lee Soo-hyun's bridge-building spirit.

The essay connected the experience of visiting disaster sites in Northeast Japan with broader themes of resilience, mutual aid, and the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relationships even in times of crisis. This selection highlighted the essay's contribution to deepening cross-cultural dialogue and understanding between Korea and Japan.
